The Sissonville, Millertown, Pocatalico & Guthrie (SMP&G) Volunteer Fire Department Water Rescue Team was organized in 1997 after the first of three Natural Disaster Floods in the Sissonville area. We will and have responded to water rescue calls all of West Virginia. We currently have two boats - 16' Lowe Wide Bottom Jon-Boat for non-swift water rescues and a 14' DiB Mini-Snout for swift water rescues.
